CORO-Kill is oxidizing agent and reacts directly with amino acids and RNA in the cell of Bacteria and kill them. However, viruses are eliminated in a different way; CORO-Kill reacts with pepton, a water soluble substance that originates from hydrolisis of proteins to amino acids. Thus CORO-Kill kills viruses by prevention of protein formation. pH of water does not affect its efficacy unlike other chlorine compounds.
